What is the difference between Past Life Experience and Soul Therapy?

Whilst both involve past life regression (soul’s journey to previous incarnations and experiencing yourself as a soul in other lives), the difference is in the purpose and length of each. 

 

Past Life Experience is a one-time joyride to one of your past lives. It is perfect for those just wanting to “try it out” or if you have a question in mind you would like to gain an insight to. Past Life Experience is a great gift to yourself to broaden perception outside the ordinary and to satisfy curiosity about who you possibly were.

 

Past Life Experience usually brings significant clues and wisdom with it. However, it is important to keep in mind that if a specific question is being explored, the question at hand is not always fully answered within one session, for two reasons. Firstly, we might not be emotionally prepared to face the past life that holds the needed answers. Secondly, there might be an issue that is rooted deeper and requires a bit more time and effort to be uncovered and healed. In both cases, the subconscious is safeguarding you until you are ready to unlock and work through whatever it is. And this is where Soul Therapy comes in.

 

Soul Therapy is a series of sessions with an aim to uncover a life lesson you are going through, whether physically or emotionally. Soul Therapy uses a variety of techniques to look into your current lifeline as well as past lives for causes to the challenges you face. Once found and healed, the newly found wisdoms are anchored and grounded to build new behavioral patterns into your present reality.

What is Past Life Regression (PLR)?

Past Life Regression (PLR) is a therapeutic method, a branch of Hypnotherapy, that guides us into the lives lived prior to our current incarnation. Our many lives are interconnected and can affect us from one incarnation to the next. Think of it as a book with many chapters where each chapter represents a lifetime and connects you to the next one.

 

Whilst we cannot consciously remember our past lives, we can access the imprints they left to gain insight into any question or issue. Past life regression takes your conscious mind onto a journey through time and space to see, hear, or feel what your soul has experienced before this lifetime. More often than not a journey into a past life brings significant explanations to things we have kept struggling with for ages.

Both Past Life Experience and Soul Therapy utilize PLR techniques.

Why don’t we remember past lives?

 

Some do remember their past lives fully or in fragments, especially young children. However, our conditioning, as well as storing new memories, does its part in reducing the conscious access to them.

 

There are two main reasons why we don’t remember past lives. As souls, we come to Earth to explore, experience, enjoy the good parts, and grow via life lessons. Remembering everything that has ever happened to us would clutter our mind with information that can be extremely painful or too much to process. It would be very difficult to enjoy certain things that life offers whilst, for example, feeling bad about something you have done in a past life. Secondly, remembering all of the imprints from past lives would divert us from the important lessons we are here to learn. This allows us to have an access path to recall only specific memories that we are ready to accept and help us work towards our best self.

What does science say about reincarnation?

 

Little to none. Although the notion of past lives has emerged already around the 4th century BCE, science tapped into this subject only during the mid-19th century. So far, there is scientific data that both approves and denies reincarnation. 

 

There is much that science has not yet been able to explain. There's little known about the human brain and the function of the mind, let alone about intuitive and transcendental experiences. 

 

One thing that data does suggest is: that, which we recall during a journey to past lives can be imprints of past incarnations, or metaphors and symbols manufactured by the subconscious mind. Both ways the modality works like a charm to evoke positive fundamental growth because our goal is to find, understand, and let go of that what bothers us.

 

Whilst science cannot offer a united front, soul traveling is becoming an increasingly popular approach to addressing a variety of issues. Most commonly people who have experienced past life journeying say that they cannot explain this experience in words other than: “It really felt real.” Some disagree, hence it remains a personal point of view for every one of us.

What does a single session look like?

 

The entire session, regardless of whether it is a Past Life Experience, touring to your previous incarnation, or Soul Therapy, for ongoing healing and transformation, you will be guided every step of the way. You will be voice-guided into a meditative state with the use of light hypnosis. Hypnosis assists in relaxing the mind and body, with a similar process to meditation. We are so used to being in a rush on a daily basis, which leaves us tense, and we wouldn't want that to interfere with the therapy or the past life journeying process.

 

For both, once you are fully relaxed, you will be guided into your "higher information field" from where we will journey to your past life to revive experiences of your previous incarnation/s or uncover lost memories across your present life. In a past life journey, you will have an opportunity to sense yourself in the body of your past life character and experience a life you have lived. 

 

Whilst the majority of people experience their journey via visualization, some find this comes easier through the auditory, or tactile, while others simply grasp these imprints by intuitive "knowing". Typically, all senses, including those not mentioned aforehand, are involved alongside emotion and insight.

 

As a rule of hand in Soul Therapy analysis of insights and healing takes place during the session when and where required, each and every journey is so unique and depends on the intention for the exploration. A past life is not always being visited during sessions, as roots to certain issues can be located in the current life. 

 

Once the session of either service comes to end, and past or current life events have been explored, you will be guided back “home” with new insights about yourself and the world around you.

What is visualization?

 

Imagining (or visualizing) a décor for your newly refurbished home or fantasizing about the future, or remembering an event, or simply daydreaming - picturing any item or scene in your mind is known as visualization. 

 

Visualization is our natural ability to form images mentally. Visualization allows us to unwind memories, imagine and play out scenes in the mind. Some call it the “third eye” or the “mind’s eye”. I call it the “inner eyes”.

 

Everybody has the ability to visualize. If you could not visualize, you would not be able to recognize the faces of your loved ones, recognize your friends in photos, or remember what an apple looks like when you close your eyes. In fact, you would not be able to remember how anything looks.

Visualization is in a lot of ways a skill, and one that can be mastered super fast. 

 

Alternatively, you may wish to practice guided imagery (a type of meditation) as it helps the mind to become used to bring your focus inward.

What is visualization?

Do I need to be able to visualize to access a past life?

 

 

Although visualization allows you to have a much fuller experience, the journey can be sensed and navigated using other sensory systems equally well. Some find that certain events during a past life visit or inner journey are less visible yet conversations or certain smells are vividly present instead. Sometimes it is simply a feeling or emotion that strongly lingers around and leads the way forward.

As long as you allow yourself to surrender to a past life approaching you, you are gaining the benefits of the journey. To find out which senses work best for you whilst being guided inward, take advantage of completing the visualization exercise

Do I need to be able to visualize to access a past life?

Do I need any experience to do a past life journey?

 

Not at all. Experience in practicing guided visualization, meditation, hypnosis, or PLR sessions might provide you with an idea of what the process is like, however, each past life journey and therapy session is very different. You do not need to have any particular previous experiences. Quite the contrary, going into it blind, the first-time journey is always a great revelation of what you are capable of achieving.

Have you ever zoned out whilst listening to something boring? Have you ever been so invested in a book you’re reading that you lose all track of time? Ever felt like you just entered your car and are already getting out at your destination? All of the above is a light state of self-hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state that we all experience at least twice a day - right before waking and before falling asleep. 

 

Hypnosis is also a therapeutic tool often used to induce a relaxed state and aid the healing of a variety of issues. By relaxing the conscious mind and body, it is much easier to gain contact with the subconscious part of the mind where our emotional and behavioral roots reside.

 

Hypnosis has been known to be used 2000 years BCE already; it is not a new practice, but it does have many entertainment-media created myths and misconceptions. Contrary to what the popular belief is, hypnosis does not induce sleep nor makes you do silly things against your will. In fact, the deeper the state of hypnosis is, the more focused you become (think back to the last time you saw a most amazing movie, I bet you soaked in every detail of it).

Why is hypnosis used in our sessions?

 

In combination with visualization techniques, light hypnosis is used to help you relax and bring your focus inward. The soul traveling journey is a vivid internal experience and would not be effective, or even possible, if all the thoughts about “What to cook for dinner?” or “What’s on my to-do list for tomorrow?” would be bouncing around your head. Usually, it is quite difficult to just sit down and clear the mind for longer than a few minutes - this is where hypnosis is a helping hand.

 

In Soul Therapy, hypnosis also allows access to the information located in the subconscious part of the mind. Together with it, we can find the root causes of issues fast and heal the dysfunctional patterns, whilst exploring life, past or current.

Why is hypnosis used in our sessions?

Will I remember my session?

 

Yes. At no point during the session, you will be unconscious. Whilst guided on your journey - you are fully and completely involved in the process. Furthermore, you are the one in control of your experience. In a relaxed meditative state, your awareness is much more heightened, impressions you receive during the session are more vivid and you always remember them. Meanwhile, the idea that you may be put in an induced sleep or lose any control over yourself is merely a myth. Hypnosis is no different from deep daydreaming - many question whether they have been in hypnosis at all.

What issues can I heal during the sessions?

 

It is important to understand that our issues, whether unpleasant events, physical distress, or emotional challenges, are symptoms and signs of a life lessons that we are here on Earth to learn, heal or transform by choice. And when a life lesson or a particular question knocks on our door, it means we are ready to untangle it. Otherwise, we would not be facing it in the first place.

 

Soul Therapy addresses life lessons you are going through presently, regardless of whether carried from past incarnations or present life. These signs and symptoms may include psychosomatic issues, relationship challenges (romantic, friendship, etc.), fears and phobias, abundance blocks, career, and emotional entanglements, physical health, and where traditional solutions haven't helped so far.

Once a life lesson is untangled and healed, the symptoms normally release their grip as well. Though for some it is immediate, for others it takes time, all depending on the complexity and depth of the issue, as well as your subconscious' will to gain any changes. It is wise to remember that therapy, regardless of what modality it uses, is not magic and sometimes requires plenty of effort, patience, and time.

 

Past Life Experience can touch on the life lessons too, but is provided to help in exploring life-death cycles or simply satisfy curiosity about soul travel.

Stepping into an unpleasant event during the past life visit is not a rare occasion, though you will be guided and kept safe and protected at all times. Think of it as watching a movie in your mind, which cannot harm you, no matter what happens in that movie. 

 

The nature of past life impressions can be very different. Some are happy and beautiful. They bring you energy and resources to aid your transformation, lift your talents and inborn gifts, provide insightful guidance. Some memories are less happy and contain what we refer to as trauma - a significant experience that annoyingly sticks with us and produces unfavorable symptoms. Trauma affects most of us and shows up in forms of destructive behavioral patterns and even physical illnesses. As unpleasant as it can be, trauma lights the path towards "super-growth". If you do uncover trauma, it means you are ready and capable to deal with it and that’s great news! Together we will heal and transform the unpleasant so that you can walk forward onto a much lighter, peaceful, and more freeing path.

What if I find something horrible during my journey?

What are life lessons?

 

Although we don’t consciously remember our entire biography, whether, from present life or past lives, our experiences have shaped us into who or what we are today. Every moment of our journey has left an imprint - sometimes a positive one, sometimes a negative one (for example, you may have treated your loved one cruelly in a past life and later developed guilt about it, that now shapes into situations where you are always feeling guilty for certain things without reason). These imprints reside in our etheric bodies and usually continue to affect our wellbeing by producing physical and emotional symptoms or undesirable situations until uncovered and released.

 

Your soul has a set of pre-planned life lessons for you that can be rooted in your past life imprints or a whole new set of lessons created for your present life (every blueprint is different). Where a concept or a problem has not been completely and deeply understood and then shifted in line with your highest good, a life lesson usually keeps reminding of itself by intensifying the "symptoms" (your issues) to the point it cannot be ignored any longer. Though we are not meant to remain with the unpleasant. We are meant to become aware of it, transform it and freely move on. Spiritual growth leads us to feel wiser, lighter, and more content. The quality of life improves as a side effect.

What happens if I don’t see a past life?

Soul Therapy sessions don't always lead you into a past life, given that the roots to your distress might be found in the present life, for example, in a childhood experience which you do not consciously recall, you may expect re-visiting such memories or work around your subconscious symbols and metaphors to solve the issue. In cases where roots to the issue reside outside of your current incarnation, you can expect a past life scene to show up. Whether you will uncover a past life during a session depends on your purpose for the session.

 

During Past Life Experience sessions, on some occasions there remains a possibility that none of the past incarnations are revealed. Because the entry into a past life is highly dependent on your subconscious readiness and willingness to revive the events that have happened in the past lives. Meaning that your mind might not be ready to deal with it just yet. However, this is quite rare as usually if you have felt that PLR is something you surely wish to experience, there is a good reason and purpose as to why you feel called to enter a past incarnation.

What happens if I don’t see a past life?

Does PLR work for everyone?

 

Virtually yes. However, it is not suggested to those suffering from long-lasting depression, untreated anxiety, or other mental illnesses, in which case please consult with your doctor to clarify whether PLR and Hypnosis are suitable for you.

The past life journeying as well as the therapy modality itself is very unique in its depth and speed in your transformation. While it can be applied to anyone, it might not be everybody's cup of tea. Sessions are most suited to those who are naturally curious about themselves and are willing to draw parallels between their present circumstances and past experiences in order to shift towards changes. It is best suited to those willing to put the effort in the sessions at the same time surrendering to the process, which can be one of the hardest things to do, yet does determine the outcome.

How many sessions should I do?

 

Depends on your goal. If you would like to simply gain an experience or insight about your eternal soul’s journey, or you have curiosity for certain existential questions, one session usually hits the spot - Past Life Experience might be your best choice. Alternatively, if you are looking to discover causes and gain transformation to issues, such as physical symptoms, emotional, relationship, or career matters, it can take several sessions, depending on how deeply rooted the problem is - Soul Therapy does exactly that. Some clients prefer to return even months later to continue their transformation. It is entirely your choice of how many sessions you would like to have and when to have them.

How many sessions should I do?

Are sessions held online?

 

All sessions currently are held online via Microsoft Teams video-call. You will receive an invitation with a meeting link that will connect you to your scheduled online session. 

A good Wi-Fi connection and a fully charged device (for audio and video use) are required in order to avoid any interruptions. The online session format works amazingly well, with the added benefit of saving you time traveling anywhere whilst being in the comfort of your own home (or other chosen location by you).
